Problems solved by technology

This requires that the sampling of cotton samples on both sides must be representative, and the conventional method of root system research, that is, the sampling of the whole root and the sampling of soil drilling points cannot truly reflect the distribution of the roots of the drip irrigation cotton field.

Embodiment

[0020] Under the site conditions with drip irrigation or micro-irrigation or sprinkler irrigation facilities, with the planting method of cotton plant + drip irrigation belt + cotton plant, the row spacing of the cotton plants is 22 cm, and the empty belt row spacing of the cotton rows is 45 cm; Drip irrigation belts are arranged in the row belt and plastic film is laid. The width of the plastic film is 115cm; under the condition of maintaining moisture, three-dimensional sampling is carried out on the growing plants at the seedling stage, bud stage, flowering and boll stage, boll stage, and boll opening stage. Soil moisture control: 60% at the seedling stage; 60% at the bud stage; 75% at the flowering and boll stage; 60% at the boll stage;

[0021] Sampling of the whole plant: Select two adjacent cotton plants (i.e., one inside and one outside) located on one side of the drip irrigation belt in the plastic film for sampling, and the selected plants are 60cm in length, 45cm in ...

Abstract

The invention provides a three-dimensional sampling method applicable to a root system research. In the method, the line space of cotton plants is 20-22cm, the line space of drip irrigation tapes is 40-50cm and a mulching film of 110-120cm is paved under a site condition of irrigation facilities. The method comprises the following steps: for whole-plant sampling: selecting adjacent inner-line and outer-line plants at one side of the irrigation tape, digging out a whole-plant soil body having a length of 55-65cm, a width of 45-50cm and a depth of 65-75cm, and flushing the whole plant to obtain a whole-plant sample; and for root system sampling: selecting the adjacent inner-line and outer-line plants at one side of the irrigation tape, digging out a root system soil section having a height of 65-75cm, a length of 55-65cm and a depth of 16-22cm, carrying out section-divided sampling at a depth of 5-10cm, bagging, and marking in a mode of space coordinates x, y and z. The depth for divided sampling should be controlled within a range of 5-10cm, if the depth is less than 5cm, upper-layer soil lumps are loose, thus causing an inaccurate sampling range; and if the depth is more than 10cm, the sampling range is unrepresentative. In the sampling process, the water holding capacity of the soil must be maintained: 55-60% in the seedling stage, 60-70% in the bud stage, 70-80% in the flowering-bolling stage, 55-70% in the bolling stage and 55-60% in the boll opening stage.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a sampling method, which realizes the all-round research on the cotton root system; the three-dimensional sampling method is combined with computer simulation to guide production practice and has more important practical value. Background technique [0002] Cotton is an important pillar industry of Xinjiang's economy, and the research on cotton is also a strong scientific and technological support for the efficient, high-quality and sustainable development of the industry. [0003] The cotton root system is the main organ for cotton to absorb water and nutrients, and the shape and distribution of the root system have an important impact on the absorption of nutrients in the soil. Therefore, the study of the differences in the root system configuration is useful for breeding cotton varieties with high nitrogen efficiency and improving the crop's ability to absorb soil nitrogen. The utilization of the root system is very importan...
