Embodiment Construction

[0038] The present invention will be described below in combination with specific embodiments.

[0039] Considering the excellent characteristics of LTE R8's four-antenna HH codebook nesting, 8-PSK limited character table and constant modulus, the present invention reuses the LTE R8 four-antenna codebook by using the kcronecker product on the basis of the codebook, thereby constructing The LTE-Advanced eight-antenna codebook is described in detail as follows.

[0040] refer to figure 1 , the eight-antenna codebook design method based on the LTE-Advanced system of the present invention includes the following implementation steps:

[0041] Step 1: Make a compromise between the feedback amount of PMI and the system performance, and determine that the codebook contains 16 codewords in each rank, that is, the 4-bit feedback is used as the design benchmark, thereby controlling the feedback overhead. And can reuse the feedback mechanism in the LTE R8 standard.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for designing an eight-antenna codebook based on an LTE-Advanced system, comprising the following steps: determining codon quantity of a codebook which comprises 16 codons under the condition of each order; reusing an LTE R8 four-antenna HH codebook and obtaining a pre-encoder matrix by carrying out kcronecker product on the codons in the codebook and a unitary matrix and working out an LTE-Advanced eight-antenna codebook of an even order by transmitting power of the pre-encoder matrix; and deleting a row of column vectors in the even order codons, generating a pre-encoder matrix, carrying out normalization of emitted energy on the pre-encoder matrix and obtaining an LTE-Advanced eight-antenna codebook of an odd order. The invention not only keeps LTE-Advanced backward compatibility, but also naturally inherits a plurality of excellent characters of the LTE R8 codebook by reusing the LTE R8 four-antenna HH codebook, thereby effectively reducing CQI calculation of a terminal side and complexity of codon selection and avoiding unbalance of the transmitting power.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication, in particular to an eight-antenna codebook design method based on the LTE-Advanced system. Background technique [0002] As is well known, a wireless communication system includes a terminal and a base station, wherein the communication link from the base station to the terminal is called a downlink, and the communication link from the terminal to the base station is called an uplink. Generally speaking, in the downlink of a wireless communication system, the base station can know channel information (CSI, Channel State Information), but if the terminal can also obtain the channel information, it will help to improve the performance of the entire wireless communication system. [0003] In a TDD system, the uplink and downlink channel symmetry can be used to obtain CSI. However, in the FDD system, due to the difference between the uplink and downlink channels, the downlink channel ...
