Benefits of technology

This technology allows both roots from one tree to grow into another without interferring each other's ability or causing damage during harvesting. Its technical benefits include improved operational efficacy while reducing costs associated therewith. Additionally, it provides an effective way to produce high yields of fleshed sweet potatoes.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the healthyness (healthiness) and productivity of crop vegetables grown over large distances without causing damage or decline due to various factors like climate conditions that may cause deteriorating effects during harvest season. Grafting technology provides an alternative solution but faces challenges from growing multiple roots simultaneously while maintaining strong disease resistant properties against bacterial fungal attacks caused by different types of microorganisms commonly found throughout these fields.

Embodiment 1

[0020] A kind of melon double stock grafting method, comprises the steps:

[0021] (1) rootstock white-seed pumpkin and black-seed pumpkin are sown in pairs at the same time at a distance of 1 cm in the seedling hole that is equipped with a seedling-raising substrate in a square seedling-raising tray;

[0022] (2) Cucumber seeds were sowed in the seedling tray that the seedling substrate was housed when the rootstock was sown for 6 days. The bottom of the seedling substrate in the seedling tray was 3 cm thick peat soil, and the cucumber seeds were sown on the peat soil, and then covered with 2 cm thick leech Stone, the sowing density of cucumber seeds is 25cm×50cm sow 750 evenly;

[0023] (3) When the diameter of the first true leaf of rootstock white-seed pumpkin reaches 5cm, the first true leaf of white-seed pumpkin is removed, and the growth point of black-seed pumpkin is removed, and the rootstock white-seed pumpkin and black-seed pumpkin are grafted on Together, fix them...

Embodiment 2

[0026] A kind of melon double stock grafting method, comprises the steps:

[0027] (1) rootstock white-seed pumpkin and black-seed pumpkin are 1.5cm apart and sowed in pairs simultaneously in the seedling hole that seedling-raising substrate is housed in the circular seedling-raising tray;

[0028] (2) Melon seeds are sowed in the seedling tray that seedling substrate is housed when rootstock sows 5 days, and the bottom of the seedling substrate in the seedling tray is 3cm thick peat soil, and melon seed is sowed on peat soil, then covers 2cm thick leech above Stone, the sowing density of melon seeds is 25cm×50cm and 750 seeds are evenly sown;

[0029] (3) When the diameter of the first true leaf of the rootstock white-seed pumpkin reaches 4.5cm, the first true leaf of the white-seed pumpkin is removed, and the growth point of the black-seed pumpkin is removed, and the rootstock white-seed pumpkin and black-seed Graft pumpkins together and fix them with clips; at the same tim...

Embodiment 3

[0032] A kind of melon double stock grafting method, comprises the steps:

[0033] (1) rootstock white-seed pumpkin and black-seed pumpkin are 1.2cm apart and sowed in pairs simultaneously in the seedling hole that is equipped with seedling-raising matrix in the seedling-raising hole tray of square;

[0034] (2) Watermelon seeds were sowed in the seedling tray that the seedling substrate was housed when the rootstock was sown for 7 days. The bottom of the seedling substrate in the seedling tray was 3cm thick peat soil, and the watermelon seeds were sown on the peat soil, and then covered with 2cm thick leeches stone;

[0035] (3) When the diameter of the first true leaf of rootstock white-seed pumpkin reaches 6cm, the first true leaf of white-seed pumpkin is removed, and the growth point of black-seed pumpkin is removed, and the rootstock white-seed pumpkin and black-seed pumpkin are grafted on Together, fix them with clips; at the same time, put two melon seedlings whose cot...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for grafting melons on double rootstocks, comprising the following steps: (1) simultaneously sowing the rootstocks cucurbita moschata and cucurbita ficifolia in pairs; (2) sowing the seeds of the melons 5-8 days after sowing the rootstocks; (3) when the diameter of the first mainleaf of the rootstock cucurbita moschata is 4.5-6cm, removing the first mainleaf of the cucurbita moschata, removing the growing point of the cucurbita ficifolia and grafting the rootstocks by inarching, and meanwhile, bevelling the parts of the lower hypocotyl, 1.5-2.5cm from the cotyledon, of the seedlings of the melons and obliquely inserting the bevelled scions of the melons on the parts of the lower hypocotyl, 0.3-0.7cm from the cotyledon, of the cucurbita moschata by the grafting needles; and (4) managing the seedlings and planting the seedlings 2-4 days later. The method realizes simultaneous inarching of the two rootstocks and cuttage grafting of the scions of the melons and the rootstocks, greatly improves the operation efficiency, greatly lowers the consequent management cost and is very applicable to industrial production of the seedlings raised by grafting.
