The technical scheme for solving the problem comprises the following steps of: adding 60 to 90 mass percent ethanol in an amount which is 10 times the weight of the Chinese trumpet creeper into the Chinese trumpet creeper, soaking for 30 minutes, extracting for one hour and filtering to obtain liquid medicament; adding 60 to 90 mass percent ethanol in an amount which is 8 times the weight of the Chinese trumpet creeper into medicament dregs, extracting for one hour, and filtering to obtain liquid medicament; and merging the liquid medicament obtained twice, concentrating in a water bath, performing vacuum drying to obtain the Chinese trumpet creeper extract which can be effectively used for preparing the medicament for treating and resisting the cerebral ischemia.
