Embodiment 1

[0035] see figure 1 , this embodiment provides a bandwidth control method, the execution subject of the method may be a base station, a base station controller or a GGSN, and the method in the embodiment of the present invention may include the following steps:

[0036] Step 101: Obtain and identify the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service, and forward the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service to the media server;

[0037] Here, the HTTP request message of the media on-demand service may be a request message of an online audio and video on-demand service, or a request message of an offline audio and video on-demand service.

[0038] In one implementation manner, the protocol feature is analyzed based on the DPI technology, and the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service is identified according to the protocol feature.

[0039] Step 102: receiving the HTTP response message corresponding to the HTTP request ...

Embodiment 2

[0054] see figure 2 , this embodiment provides another bandwidth control method, the execution subject of this method may be a base station, a base station controller or a GGSN, the application scenario of this embodiment of the present invention is that the media server returns the The response message corresponding to the real-time streaming request message, that is, the media server transmits the HTTP response message bearing streaming media data in the form of multiple subcontracts; the method of the embodiment of the present invention may include the following steps:

[0055] Step 201: Obtain and identify the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service, and forward the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service to the media server;

[0056] Step 202: receiving the HTTP response message corresponding to the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service returned by the media server;

[0057] Step 203: extracting a featu...

Embodiment 3

[0083] see Figure 3a , this embodiment provides another bandwidth control method, which is applied to such as Figure 3b In the network environment shown, in this embodiment, Figure 3a The terminal in refers to a device capable of realizing wireless Internet access, which may be a smart terminal, such as a mobile phone, or a netbook based on a data card. Wherein, the terminal user activates the wireless Internet access service by initiating a packet data protocol activation request. When the terminal initiates a request to open a wireless Internet access service, the base station / base station controller / GGSN allocates the user subscription bandwidth for the streaming media on-demand service to the terminal; the method in the embodiment of the present invention may include the following steps:

[0084] Step 301: The terminal initiates a video on-demand message HTTP Get;

[0085] In this embodiment, an example is taken in which a terminal user initiates online video on-dema...

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method, equipment and system for controlling band width. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring and identifying an HTTP (Hyper Text Transport Protocol ) request message of streaming media on-demand service, and forwarding the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service to a media server; receiving an HTTP response message which is returned by the media server and corresponds to the HTTP request message of the streaming media on-demand service; resolving the HTTP response message to acquire a playing code rate of a streaming media file to be transmitted; determining actually distributed transmission band width of the streaming media on-demand service according to the comparison result of the playing code rate and the initially distributed user signed bandwidth of the streaming media on-demand service; and controlling the transmission of the streaming media file by adopting the determined transmission band width. Therefore, in the embodiment of the invention, band width control is directly performed in a network element, so that the problems of more interaction among different network elements and additional increment of processing overhead of other network elements in the prior art are avoided at the same time of simply and effectively improving the utilization rate of network resources.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, in particular to a bandwidth control method, device and system. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of 3G technology and the continuous maturity of wireless Internet access technology, more and more users use smart terminals and wireless access to the Internet, and the demand of these users for streaming media services has also increased significantly. In order to meet the needs of more and more wireless users to access the Internet, when the user initiates PDP (Packet Data Protocol) activation through a smart terminal or wirelessly, the base station / base station controller / GGSN (Gateway GPRS Support Node, gateway GPRS support nodes) will allocate a subscription bandwidth to each user. When the terminal initiates an online audio and video on-demand request, the base station / base station controller / GGSN transmits streaming media files to the terminal user ...
