Abstract

The invention discloses a technology for optimizing the service life of a heterogeneous wireless sensor network based on an ant colony search algorithm. The technology considers two constraints that the wireless sensor network must completely cover a monitoring target and the network connectivity needs to be maintained. The service life of the heterogeneous wireless sensor network is optimized through subsets meeting the coverage and the connectivity constraints by the division of different types of devices in the network as much as possible simultaneously. The technology self-adaptively constructs a solution construction graph according to search results of the last generation of the ant colony search algorithm, and each ant constructs a device division strategy based on the solution construction graph under the guidance of pheromone and heuristic information. The method for self-adaptively constructing the solution construction graph avoids the optimization difficulty caused by the presetting of too many subsets, and also provides guidance for further optimization. The pheromone records historical information of a subset structure and the heuristic information reflects the desirability of the subsets on a certain device, so the ant can be guided to highly and efficiently set up a high-quality solution by the combination of the pheromone and the heuristic information. Moreover, the technology also introduces a local search algorithm based on redundant equipment allocation, thereby the optimization efficiency of the technology is further improved.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention relates to two major fields of wireless sensor networks and intelligent computing, and mainly discloses a lifetime optimization technology for heterogeneous wireless sensor networks based on an ant colony search algorithm. Background technique: [0002] With the development of microelectronics technology and communication technology, real-time surveillance has become a reality in applications such as battlefield surveillance, environmental surveillance, and traffic management. These applications usually require wireless sensor networks, and their quality of service is closely related to the performance of wireless sensor networks. A basic criterion for evaluating wireless sensor networks is the lifetime of the network, that is, the time when the network can meet the application requirements. Since most of the current wireless sensor networks are powered by disposable batteries, how to improve the utilization efficiency of batteries to p...
