Problems solved by technology

[0006] First, in the absence of network topology information, the dynamic adjustment of Peer during the P2P download process can only be based on external parameters, and it is basically difficult to conduct targeted guidance for P2P traffic;
[0007] Second, if you only use and refer to the network topology information when selecting a Peer in the initial stage, you cannot make more effective use of the resources in the domain that gradually increase during the download process to minimize the P2P traffic outside the domain

Embodiment Construction

[0031] The present invention will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated.

[0032] figure 1 A flowchart showing a method for dynamically adjusting P2P nodes to reduce P2P out-of-domain traffic provided by an embodiment of the present invention.

[0033] Such as figure 1 As shown, the method 100 for dynamically adjusting P2P nodes to reduce P2P out-of-domain traffic includes step 102, the in-domain node establishes a connection to request downloading with the Peer that owns the corresponding file block queue of the P2P file. Taking two P2P user nodes P1 and P2 in a domain as an example for illustration, a P2P file is divided into five file blocks, and P2P Peers S1, S2, S3, and S4 respectively own different blocks of the file. Since the Peer in the initial domain has no resources, the implementation mechanism of the current P2P / P4P application is used: the P2P Peer determi...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for dynamically adjusting P2P (Peer-to-peer) nodes to reduce P2P traffic outside a domain. The method comprises the steps of: establishing a link for requesting downloading by a node inside the domain and a Peer corresponding to a file block having a P2P file after a user submits a request for downloading the P2P file; deleting a corresponding file block in a file block queue by the node inside the domain according to the file block currently obtained by the node inside the domain after a period of file block downloading time; and obtaining file blocks which are obtained by other nodes by the node inside the domain to complete the downloading of the P2P file. According to the method and system disclosed by the invention, the corresponding file block in the node inside the domain and a request queue link is correspondingly deleted by utilizing network topology information provided by an operator and by firstly choosing file block resources downloaded by the node inside the domain, so as to realize effective traffic grooming and control of the P2P traffic outside the domain, the bandwidth resource is effectively saved, and the bandwidth utilization rate is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a method and system for dynamically adjusting P2P nodes (Peers) to reduce traffic outside the P2P domain. Background technique [0002] In P2P applications, such as downloading and online video (hereinafter, P2P downloading will be described as an example), P2P users obtain the Peer information of this P2P application from the Tracker of the P2P application. During the P2P downloading process, the choice of Peer will be dynamic. However, the reason for dynamically changing the Peer is mainly to consider whether the download speed of the Peer is high enough, whether the Peer is always online during the download process, and so on. In the case of not knowing the network topology, P2P applications can only adjust Peer with such external parameters. [0003] At present, the P4P technology that is gradually attracting attention considers the combination of P2P applicati...
