Abstract

The invention relates to an environmentally-friendly binding material and production and application thereof. The environmentally-friendly binding material consists of the following components in parts by weight: (1) 10-20 percent of an acrylic resin, (2) 20-50 percent of acrylic resin latex, (3) 20-40 percent of pigment color paste, (4) 0.5-5 percent of a film forming aid, (5) 0.2-3.0 percent of a rheological agent, (6) 0.05-0.5 percent of an antifoaming agent and (7) 10-50 percent of purified water. The production and application of the environmentally-friendly binding material are characterized by comprising the following steps of: spraying an environmentally-friendly binding material onto a paper base; drying; and embossing and coiling. The environmentally-friendly binding material has the beneficial effects of fresh color, cloth and leather imitation texture, rot resistance, water resistance, superior binding and hot stamping process property, can be widely applied to books, picture albums, stamp albums, binding of photograph albums, package decoration, manufacturing of luggage and package decoration of goods such as pencil cases, gift boxes and the like, and has a wide application prospect, a good social benefit and a considerable economic benefit simultaneously.
