Abstract

The invention provides a micro-control unit for an electric device. The micro-control unit comprises a charge pump regulator and a controller, the charge pump regulator is connected to an external DC power source and boost and regulates voltage outputted from the DC power source, and the controller is switched to the external DC power source when current of the DC power source is stable and is switched to the charge pump regulator when the current is unstable, so that stable voltage is outputted to the electric device, and damage to the electric device due to inputted surge current is avoided. The invention further provides a system for protecting the electric device. The system comprises the DC power source for providing direct current, the micro-control unit and the electric device; the micro-control unit comprises the charge pump regulator and the controller, the charge pump regulator is connected to the DC power source and boost and regulates the voltage outputted from the DC power source, and the controller is switched to the DC power source when the direct current of the DC power source is stable and is switched to the charge pump regulator when the current is unstable, so that the stable voltage is outputted; and the electric device is connected to the micro-control unit and receives the stable voltage outputted from the micro-control unit, so that damage caused by the inputted surge current is avoided. The micro-control unit and the system have the advantage of high interference resistance.
