Abstract

The invention discloses a multifunctional multi-channel ion source for a mass spectrometer and a mass spectrum analysis method for trace components in an original sample. The ion source comprises a sample ionization area consisting of a high-voltage power supply, a plurality of nozzles and a sample disc, and at least two channels, wherein sample flow injected from the second channel collides with reagent ions injected from the first channel to form sample ions, or the reagent ions injected from the first channel collide with a sample in the sample disc to ionize the sample, and the sample is introduced into an inlet capillary of the mass spectrometer for mass spectrum analysis. The multi-channel ion source can be connected with common mass spectrometers such as LCQ, LTQ and TSQ, so that the functions of the common mass spectrometers are upgraded and powerful to rapidly and sensitively measure the gas, liquid, solid and colloid samples in the mass spectrum analysis method, and the multifunctional multi-channel ion source can be applied to in-situ, real-time, online and nondestructive analysis in the industrial or environmental process.
