Abstract

The invention discloses a method for configuring wireless network settings of a thin client device using an intelligent terminal. The method comprises the following steps: 1) running a network configuration application program on the intelligent terminal; 2) inputting wireless network configuration parameters in an interface of the network configuration application program; 3) generating wireless network configuration files, which include configuration data created for the thin client device; 4) connecting the intelligent terminal to the thin client device using a data line; 5) switching a removable memory of the intelligent terminal to a USB disk mode; 6) detecting by the thin client device the removable memory connected thereto; 7) executing by the thin client device a configuration program, automatically loading the configuration data in the removable memory to configure the network settings of the client device; and 8) after the thin client device completes data configuration of the network settings, transmitting a signal by the thin client device to inform of the completion of configuration operation.
