The serial port programming and watchdog compatible circuit is characterized by comprising an external serial port programming enable signal end, a signal conversion circuit and a watchdog shielding circuit, wherein when a serial port is required to be used for programming, the external serial port programming enable signal end is directly connected to a serial port programming 12V ground enable signal; the signal conversion circuit converts the serial port programming 12V ground enable signal into a 3.3V ground enable signal and an enable signal which can be received by a serial port programming enable pin in a digital signal processor (DSP) master control chip to identify a programming instruction; the 3.3V ground enable signal serves as a watchdog shielding signal, and a programming function is normally realized by shielding a watchdog function; and when an external serial port programming enable signal disappears, a design function of a watchdog is recovered.
