Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides a multicast packet transporting method, a station device and a service set system and relates to the field of communication. The multicast packet transporting method, the station device and the service set system are capable of simplifying addressing modes when multicast packets are received, so that electricity is saved. The multicast packet transporting method includes: receiving VHT-SIG-A1 (very high throughput signal A1field) in a data packet; judging multicast identification of the VHT-SIG-A1, and if the multicast identification indicates that the data packet is a multicast packet, and using a belonging multicast address to match part of multicast addresses of the multicast packet in the VHT-SIG-A1; and if the belonging multicast address is unmatched with part of the multicast addresses of the multicast packet, quitting receiving of the multicast packet. The multicast packet transporting method, the station device and the service set system in the embodiment are used for transporting the multicast packets.
