The device comprises a network type query module and a switching module. The mobile terminal comprises a plurality of application modules which support at least one 3G network type. The 3G network type compatible device further comprises a plurality of attention (AT) service modules which are respectively used for being called by the application modules for supporting the 3G network types. The network type query module is used for querying the current network type of the mobile terminal. The switching module is used for converting the application modules supporting the current network type to the AT service modules which are respectively called by the application modules supporting the current network type. The invention further discloses a 3G network type compatible method. The 3G network type compatible device achieves the functions of supporting various 3G network types through adoption of the network type query module and the switching module based on current client devices of 3G infinite network cards.
