The method comprises the following steps of building a BOOT mirror image part of a switch-to-other-production system according to an original BOOT mirror image of an operating system; building a board support package (BSP) parameter part for configuring the switch-to-other-production system; building a main boot record (MBR) table part for configuring a file system of the switch-to-other-production system; building a kernel mirror image part of the switch-to-other-production system according to an original kernel mirror image of the operating system; and integrating the built BOOT mirror image part, the built BSP parameter part, the built MBR table part and the built kernel mirror image part to generate a system mirror image for a burning machine. The system mirror image which is built for the burning machine is used for mass production in a switch-to-other-production process, so that the problems that the procedures are complicated, more time is consumed, and the production requirement cannot be met in mass production when the equipment is switched to other production can be solved.
