This disclosure relates to the field of power

power planning based on the characteristics of next-generation
coal-fired power plants. The method involves constructing a first multi-dimensional operational constraint for next-generation
coal-fired power units based on multi-dimensional characteristics, including
clean energy reduction, safety, efficient regulation, and intelligent operation. A second multi-dimensional operational constraint is constructed based on the requirements for multi-source coordinated operation. A target constraint
system for next-generation
coal-fired power units is then constructed based on the first, second, and comprehensive cost constraints. The initial installed capacity scheme is iteratively optimized using a target time-
series production model combined with the target constraint
system to obtain the target installed capacity scheme. Through the first multi-dimensional operational constraint, the four core characteristics of
clean energy reduction, safety, efficient regulation, and intelligent operation are accurately covered, effectively solving the problem of inaccurate characterization of coal-fired power plants.
