Abstract

The invention provides a detection system and method for detecting a state of an application program. The detection system comprises an induction terminal and a detection circuit, wherein the induction terminal is used for receiving an indication signal of a supply current of an indication power source, and the power source derives an electronic device to operate a first application program which is placed on a computer readable medium in the electronic device; the detection circuit is connected with the induction terminal, and is used for calculating the variation of the supply current according to the indication signal, estimating power consumption of the first application program according to the variation of the supply current, and detecting whether an unusual condition happens to the first application program by comparing the estimated power consumption and a reference value. The detection system and method can efficiently detect whether unusual conditions happen to the electronic device.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a detection system and method, in particular to a detection system and method for detecting the state of an application program. Background technique [0002] The detection system can be used in electronic equipment (eg, computer equipment, including desktop computers, notebook computers, handheld phones, palm computers, tablet computers, etc.) to detect whether abnormal conditions occur in the electronic equipment. Conventional detection systems detect whether an electronic device includes a computer virus by checking all applications running in the electronic device. [0003] More specifically, the detection system compares the code of each application with the code in a virus database, and checks whether the application includes a computer virus. If the code included by the application can be found in the virus database, the detection system considers the application to be infected by a computer virus. Every time t...
