The invention provides an indoor unit of an air conditioner, which comprises a housing, an air outlet formed in the housing, and an independent air supply component mounted at the air outlet of the housing and used for changing an air outlet direction, wherein an annular wall is arranged at the air outlet; the independent air supply component comprises an outer frame, a first rotating mechanism arranged on the annular wall and rotating in a first plane back and forth, a second rotating mechanism arranged on the outer frame and rotating in a second plane back and forth, and a mounting rack connecting the first rotating mechanism and the second rotating mechanism together to allow the second rotating mechanism and the outer frame to rotate along with the first rotating mechanism. The independent air supply component rotates at the air outlet integrally to change the air outlet direction, so that the air outlet direction is changed effectively; the wide-angle air supply is achieved by rotation in the two planes of the independent air supply component; and the independent air supply component can be positioned in a certain rotation direction for achieving centralized air supply.
