The liquid crystal composition provided by the invention is excellent in performance, has the characteristics of low rotary viscosity, short response time, wide nematic phase range, appropriate optical anisotropy and the like, is suitable for an active matrix electrooptic element and a liquid crystal display, and can be used for manufacturing a TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display).
