Abstract

The dielectric positive liquid-crystal composition comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 1%-40% of first dielectric positive component A shown by a formula I, 10%-80% of second dielectric positive component B, and 10-80% of dielectric neutral component C shown by a formula IV, wherein the mass percentage of a compound with a formula II and the mass percentage of a compound with a formula III in the second dielectric positive component B are 0-80% of the liquid-crystal composition respectively. In addition, the liquid-crystal composition is also added with a rotary optical component accounting for less than 0.5% of the sum of the mass of the first dielectric positive component A, the second dielectric positive component B and the dielectric neutral component C and more than 0. The dielectric positive liquid-crystal composition disclosed by the invention has the advantages of low viscosity, fast response time and proper optical anisotropy and dielectric anisotropy, and is especially applicable to manufacturing active-matrix TN-TFT, IPS-TFT or FFS liquid-crystal display elements with fast response.
