A method for high-density river crab aquaculture with six-ring cages particularly includes the steps: pond modification; cage setting; aquatic plant planting; river crab seed selection; releasing for aquaculture; bait casting for feeding; daily management. A covert space is created for river crabs to molt, and molting of the river crabs is benefited. In addition, the river crabs can select different growing aqueous layers according to own body conditions, so that river crab aquaculture density is increased. The six-ring cages occupy large water spaces and provide different growing aqueous layers for the river crabs from top to bottom, aquaculture yield of an original water area is unaffected since the cages are suspended in water, and river crab aquaculture yield of a single pond can be increased. Quality of commercial crabs can be improved by properly increasing input of protein baits in the later aquaculture period.
