Embodiment 1

[0042] like figure 1 As shown, the multi-spectral counterfeit banknote detection system of this embodiment adopts a reflective detection method, and the linear array light source system 1 and the linear array detection system 2 are arranged on the same side of the banknote 3 to be tested.

[0043] In this embodiment, the structure of the linear array light source system 1 is as follows Figure 2(a) , 2(b) As shown, it includes a light source mounting seat 11 and a first plano-convex cylindrical lens 12 , the plane of the first plano-convex cylindrical lens 12 is close to the long side of the light source mounting seat 11 . The long side of light source mounting base 11 is subdivided into N 1 There are sub-areas 14, and one white light source 13 is installed in each sub-area 14. In practical applications, multiple small light source elements with different spectra (colors) can also be used.

Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-spectral counterfeit bank note detection system and method. The detection system comprises a linear array light source system and a linear array detection system. A multi-spectral light source is installed in the linear array light source system, a photoelectric detector used for detecting wide-band light intensity signals is integrated inside the linear array detection system, light emitted by the multi-spectral light source is irradiated on the surface of a bank note and is reflected or transmitted by the bank note to reach the linear array detection system, and the photoelectric detector inside the linear array detection system converts the light intensity signals into electrical signals and sends the electrical signals to an upper computer. The detection method comprises the steps that the multi-spectral linear light source scans the bank note, a multi-spectral reflection or transmission image is obtained, the spectral image of the bank note to be detected and a spectral image of a true bank note are compared, and bank note identification is accomplished. The multi-spectral counterfeit bank note detection system and method can well recognize illegally modified or altered bank notes and spliced bank notes, and are more accurate in recognition compared with the prior art.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the intersecting technical field of photonics and information science, in particular to a multispectral counterfeit banknote detection system and a detection method thereof. Background technique [0002] Currency is an important cornerstone of life in today's society. The identification of counterfeit banknotes is related to the well-being of the public. However, there are many ways to make counterfeit banknotes today. In addition to the "complete" production of counterfeit banknotes, "altered coins" and "stitched coins" are also rampant, and "cheat" bank ATMs for a period of time. In order to better identify counterfeit banknotes, many schemes have been proposed. Optical methods are favored due to their simplicity and practicality. However, simply using light intensity (image) information cannot provide the most comprehensive information in many cases. The spectral signal of an object can provide more comprehensive inform...
