Abstract

The invention provides a method for synthesizing distorted fingerprints. The method comprises the following steps that a reference fingerprint and a plurality of fingerprint pairs are selected, each fingerprint pair comprises a distorted fingerprint and a normal fingerprint corresponding to the distorted fingerprint, and the fingerprint pair is matched according to the reference fingerprint; distorted fields between the distorted fingerprints and the normal fingerprints corresponding to the distorted fingerprints are obtained according to the corresponding relations between the distorted fingerprints of the matched fingerprint pairs and minutiae of the normal fingerprints corresponding to the distorted fingerprints; a statistics model of the distorted fields is obtained according to the study on the distorted fields; by means of the statistics model of the distorted fields, the multiple distorted fingerprints correlated with the normal fingerprint assigned at will can be synthesized for the normal fingerprint assigned at will. According to the method, the distorted fingerprints can be efficiently, accurately and largely synthesized, and resource expense and cost can be reduced. The invention further provides a system for synthesizing distorted fingerprints.
