Embodiment Construction

[0014] figure 1 and figure 2 A possible embodiment variant of a transmission gearbox arrangement for a rail vehicle is shown by way of example. The transmission gearbox arrangement can be embodied, for example, as an axle transmission gearbox of a rail vehicle.

[0015] by figure 1 It can be seen in the sectional view that the drive pinion 1 , which is formed in one piece with the drive shaft, meshes with the output gear 2 , which is larger in terms of outer diameter, as a helical spur gear. The output gear 2 is connected to an output shaft 3 designed as a hollow shaft. The drive pinion 1 and the driven gear 2 are supported in the transmission gearbox housing 4 via cylindrical roller bearings 5 , 5A. In the lower part of the transmission gearbox housing 4 there is provided a bottom oil pan 6 for lubricant supply to the driven gear 2 into which the teeth of the driven gear 2 sink.

Abstract

The invention relates to a gearbox arrangement for a rail vehicle, with at least one pair of spur gears having helical toothing, said arrangement comprising a drive pinion (1) and a drive wheel (2), which are mounted by means of cylindrical roller bearings (5, 5A) in a gearbox housing (4), wherein at least one thrust collar for absorbing axial forces via a contact area (8, 8A) is arranged on at least one of the spur gears, and wherein each thrust collar is substantially designed as a pressure plate (7, 7A) such that lubricant is applied, at least in certain sections, to the contact region (8, 8A) provided on the peripheral region of each pressure plate, independently of the rotational movement.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a transmission gearbox arrangement for a rail vehicle according to the type defined in detail in the preamble of claim 1 . Background technique [0002] It is known from vehicle technology that in transmission gearbox arrangements with helical spur gear pairs, axial forces are induced during operation on the spur gear and the shaft. To absorb these axial forces, angular contact rolling bearings are usually used, such as for example tapered roller bearings or thrust bearings, which support the axial forces relative to the gear unit housing. A disadvantage here is that the tapered roller bearings and thrust bearings used require cost-intensive adjustment and readjustment work, for example during assembly of the drive gearbox or during subsequent maintenance work. Incorrectly adjusted tapered roller bearings and thrust bearings can cause damage to the transmission gearbox, so it is preferable to use cylindrical roller bearings th...
