Problems solved by technology

[0007] However, the types of stamen-specific expression promoters currently known to people are limited, and, as mentioned above, the existing stamen promoters are mainly suitable for improving the ornamental quality of flowers, and there are not enough promoters that can be applied to Stamen promoters in crops, especially monocotyledonous crops, especially rice

Abstract

The present invention provides a promoter capable of driving or regulating gene expression in plant stamens, which comprises at least one of the following: (a) the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO1; (b) the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO2 The nucleotide sequence shown; (c) the nucleotide sequence obtained after adding, replacing or missing one or more nucleotides in the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO1; (d) in SEQ ID NO1 The nucleotide sequence obtained after adding, substituting or missing one or more nucleotides in the nucleotide sequence shown in ID NO2; (e) a complementary core to the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO1 Nucleotide sequence; (f) a nucleotide sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO2; (g) a nucleotide sequence with at least 90% homology to SEQ ID NO1; or (h) A nucleotide sequence having at least 90% homology to SEQ ID NO2. The promoter of the present invention is beneficial to control the specific expression of the target gene only in stamens.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a gene fragment with specific functions isolated from plants, in particular to a stamen-specific expression promoter isolated from rice. Background technique [0002] One of the goals of plant genetic engineering is to produce plants with characteristics or traits desired for agriculture. With the advancement of genetic engineering, the necessary tools for transforming plants to contain and express foreign genes are now available. Technological advances in plant transformation and regeneration have enabled researchers to obtain exogenous nucleotide molecules and integrate these nucleotide molecules into plant genomes. The exogenous nucleotide molecule can then be expressed in the plant cell to exhibit the added characteristic or trait. Therefore, plants, especially crops, can be provided with some traits that the crops do not have originally, so that the growth mode of the crops is more in line with the needs of people's prod...
