The technical scheme is as follows: when a data collector is energized to work, the data downlink end of the data collector generates 10-50 V output voltage, the apparatus is characterized in that the output voltage goes into the input end of data output of the intelligent electronic meter through a data transmission line, data signals are isolated through a data isolation circuit, current after isolation flows into an anti-interference circuit, a rectification current-limiting circuit, a supercapacitor and a voltage-stabilizing circuit to generate a power supply according with the power supply requirement of the intelligent electronic meter, and the power supply enters the circuit board of an original intelligent electronic meter, such that the intelligent electronic meter has a dual-source power supply function. According to the invention, the intelligent electronic meter is used for supplying power only in case of failure of commercial power, and the service life of a battery is prolonged.
