The composition comprises following traditional Chinese medicines by weight: 1-3 parts of nux vomica (mix-fried), 10-30 parts of smallflower milkwort herb with root, 10-30 parts of rhizoma corydalis, 10-30 parts of scutellaria baicalensis, 20-50 parts of astragalus propinquus, 10-30 parts of angelica sinensis, 10-30 parts of ginseng and 10-20 parts of licorice. The objective of the invention is to provide the traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating tobacco craving and drug addiction and a preparing method thereof. The composition is free of medicines which are addictive, narcotic and high in toxic and side effects.
