Abstract

The method overcomes the defects that the relation between water resource utilization and human consumption activities is not taken into consideration in a traditional evaluation method, the human consumption activities are reflected through the water footprint, and the relation between the water footprint and the human consumption activities is established; compared with the traditional ecological suitability evaluation method, the method has the advantages that an evaluation result is more comprehensive and reasonable, and the hydroelectric development potential of an area can be reflected more truly.
