Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving the purslane seed yield. The key technology of the method is that purslane seeds are sowed in a rotatable specific device; during a squaring period, purslane plants are adjusted such that an angle between the purslane main stems and the horizontal plane is 40-50 degrees; and after 5 days, the angle between the purslane main stems and the horizontal plane is adjusted to 0-15 degrees. Therefore, the apical dominance influence to lateral branches is reduced. Lateral floral organs can develop normally, and a mature period can be kept consistent. With the implementation of the method, the purslane seed yield can be increased by 35-40%; seed harvesting frequency can be reduced; and purslane seed production efficiency can be improved.
