Embodiment

[0027] The three-dimensional neutron photographic nondestructive testing method for a pressurized water reactor spent fuel element of the present invention is used to perform nondestructive testing on a pressurized water reactor nuclear fuel element, and the steps are as follows:

[0028] (1) Place the neutron conversion screen behind the spent fuel element; the length of the spent fuel element is 15cm;

[0029] (2) Introduce a neutron beam in front of the spent fuel element. After the neutron beam passes through the spent fuel element, the neutron conversion screen is exposed to obtain a two-dimensional image of the spent fuel element. After exposure for a period of time, the neutron beam is removed. flow; the size of the neutron conversion screen is 20cm×20cm×0.01cm;

[0030] (3) Translate the neutron conversion screen to change the projection position of the neutron beam on the neutron conversion screen after passing through the spent fuel element. According to the selected...

Abstract

The invention relates to a nuclear material detection method. In order to solve the problem that in the nondestructive testing field of spent fuel components of pressurized water reactors, no mature three-dimensional neutron radiographic methods are available, the invention provides a nondestructive testing method for a spent fuel component of a pressurized water reactor by virtue of three-dimensional neutron radiography. The method comprises the following steps: I, putting a neutron conversion screen; II, introducing a neutron beam for two-dimensional imaging; III, rotating the spent fuel component at a certain angle; IV, continuously repeating the steps II and III till the spent fuel component is rotated to 180 degrees so as to obtain multiple two-dimensional images; V, selecting a data correcting reference region; VI, acquiring testing information of the two-dimensional images through a digital imaging plate; VII, correcting two-dimensional testing information; VIII, deducting dark fields and light fields for three-dimensional reconstruction; and VIIII, finishing nondestructive testing. The testing method provided by the invention can be used for acquiring clear three-dimensional images of the spent fuel component of the pressurized water reactor, thereby providing a powerful guarantee for quality detection and performance enhancement of the spent fuel component of the pressurized water reactor in China.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a nuclear material detection method, in particular to a three-dimensional neutron photographic nondestructive detection method for pressurized water reactor spent fuel elements. Background technique [0002] In the field of nuclear industry, in order to realize the quality control of nuclear fuel elements of pressurized water reactors, it is necessary to test the corresponding spent fuel elements. However, due to the strong radioactivity of PWR spent fuel elements, general detection techniques cannot be applied to their detection. [0003] As an advanced non-destructive testing technology, neutron photography technology is widely used in industrial fields, and has many advantages such as fast detection speed, accurate results and high reliability. However, the strong radioactivity of the spent fuel elements of the pressurized water reactor will seriously interfere with the neutron photography, which makes it impossible to obta...
