Embodiment Construction

[0026] The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0027] see Figure 1-5 , an auditory brainstem stimulation implant, comprising an induction coil 10, a stimulation control unit 20 and a puncture electrode array 30, wherein,

[0028] The induction coil 10 is concentrically connected with the transmitting coil of the external device of the auditory brainstem stimulation system, and receives the modulated voice coded signal through inductive coupling;

[0029] The stimulation control unit 20 is connected with the induction coil 10, demodulates and decodes the received voice coded signal of the induction coil 10, and converts it into an electrical signal for transmission to the puncture electrode array 30; the stimulation The control unit 20 includes an input demodulation module 210, a forward signal decoding module 220, an electrode control module 230, a clock recovery module 240, a power m...

Abstract

The invention discloses an auditory brainstem stimulation implant. The auditory brainstem stimulation implant comprises an induction coil, a stimulation control unit and a puncture electrode array, wherein the induction coil is centro-symmetrically connected with an in-vitro device transmitting coil of an auditory brainstem stimulation system and is used for receiving a modulated sound coding signal; the stimulation control unit is connected with the induction coil and is used for demodulating and decoding the sound coding signal received by the induction coil, converting the sound coding signal into an electric signal and transmitting the electric signal to the puncture electrode array; the puncture electrode array comprises a plurality of puncture electrodes which are used for forming the puncture electrode array, electrode wires which are connected with the puncture electrodes one by one and a rectangular fiber mesh which is used for postoperative fixation. The auditory brainstem stimulation implant disclosed by the invention has the advantages that implantation and fixation are easy, nerve cells of a brainstem cochlear nucleus can be directly stimulated, and sound information can be sensed again by hearing-impaired people.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of medical devices, in particular to an auditory brainstem stimulation implant. Background technique [0002] For severe or extremely severe deafness, cochlear implants are currently the only effective device to help deaf and disabled patients recover their hearing. Auditory nerve hypoplasia or defect, cochlear hypoplasia or senile neurological deafness and other diseases have caused hearing damage above the auditory nerve, and we are called post-cochlear deaf patients. For these patients, hearing cannot be restored with a cochlear implant. [0003] Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI) technology, as the latest technology for auditory nerve repair and reconstruction, is currently considered to be the most advanced and the only effective technology for the treatment of patients with severe retrocochlear deafness. The cochlear nucleus of the brain stem allows the patient to regain hearing. Contents of the invention [...
