Embodiment Construction

[0030] At the outset, it should be noted that in the differently described embodiments, the same parts are provided with the same reference symbols or the same component designations, wherein the disclosure content contained in the entire description can be appropriately transferred to the same The same parts with the same reference numerals or the same member names. Positional specifications selected in the description, such as top, bottom, side, etc., also refer to the direct description and the illustrated figure and are also transferred to the new position in the event of a position change.

[0031] exist Figures 1 to 4 A collection assembly 1 is shown in different configurations, which is used in particular to collect body fluids, such as blood samples. The collection assembly 1 shown here has smaller outer dimensions and a smaller receiving volume than the generally standardized standard dimensions compared to commonly used blood sampling tubes. The collection assembl...

Abstract

The application relates to a collection assembly (1), in particular for blood samples, comprising a sample container (2) and a closure device (3) which has a closure cap (22) and a pierceable septum (26) held on the closure cap. At its open end (4) delimited by an end face (11), the sample container has a flange (13) and an annular skirt (15), the flange projecting radially beyond a side wall (7). The annular skirt extends axially from a flange end (14) to a closed end (5) of the sample container. The sample container, the flange and the annular skirt form a one-piece component. Between an outer surface (9) of the side wall and an inner annular skirt surface (16) facing toward this outer surface, there is an approximately tubular clearance (17) which is delimited in the axial direction in the region of the open end by the flange.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a collection assembly as described in claim 1 , in particular for a blood sample. Background technique [0002] A sample collection assembly of the same type for blood samples is known from EP1066882B1, which assembly has a sample container with an open end, an end closed by the bottom and a closed end at the open end and a closed A sidewall extends between the ends, the sidewall having an outer surface and an inner surface. The side walls are delimited by end faces in the region of the open end, wherein the side walls and the ends delimit the collecting chamber. The sample container can be closed by means of a closure device and has a closure cap and a pierceable septum held on the closure cap. In its closed position, the closure device closes the collection chamber of the sample container in the region of the open end of the sample container. The outer shell of the closure cap bridges the open end of the sample container f...
