A management information system and a product process configuration data updating method and a product process configuration data updating device thereof are provided. The method comprise the following steps: establishing a data source containing the matching relation between first configuration data and a corresponding variable name and the matching relation between second configuration data and the variable name, wherein the first configuration data and the second configuration data are data configured for the product process of the manufacturing projects in a management information system, the first configuration data includes technology configuration data involved in product manufacturing in the product process, and the second configuration data includes step configuration data involved in product manufacturing in the product process; when receiving an updating request made by a user, carrying out variable name automatic matching for data in the updating request according to the matching relations in the data source; and updating the data source based on successfully matched data in the updating request.
