The wireless communication system comprises the air conditioner indoor units and the air conditioner outdoor unit. Each air conditioner indoor unit comprises an indoor unit wireless communication module and an indoor unit fault processing module. The air conditioner outdoor unit comprises an outdoor unit wireless communication module, an outdoor unit fault processing module and a networking channel switching module. The outdoor unit fault processing module controls the outdoor unit wireless communication module to empty air conditioner running data in an EEPROM of the outdoor unit wireless communication module after the outdoor unit fault processing module receives a communication fault notice. The indoor unit fault processing modules control the indoor unit wireless communication modules connected with the indoor unit fault processing modules to empty air conditioner running data in EEPROMs of the indoor unit wireless communication modules after the indoor unit wireless communication modules do not receive data sent by the outdoor unit communication module. The networking channel switching module establishes the channels for the air conditioner outdoor unit and all the air conditioner indoor units in the same system.
