Embodiment Construction

[0035] The present invention proposes a polynomial digital pre-distortion behavior model based on piecewise linear functions through the research of the prior art, and achieves good results through matlab software simulation.

[0036] Due to its high flexibility and strong applicability, digital predistortion technology has always been the focus of people's attention in the linearization of power amplifier lines. The digital predistortion model proposed by the invention has achieved good results in terms of adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) and normalized mean square error (NMSE). Technical scheme of the present invention is as follows:

[0037] 1. First, the digital predistortion structure of the power amplifier is explained, with figure 1 . This figure is a schematic diagram of an indirect predistortion structure. The input of the predistortion module is y(n) / G, and the output is G is the gain of the power amplifier. The input signal is x(n), and the output signal g...

Abstract

The invention relates to the technology of digital pre-distortion, provides a novel digital pre-distortion structure, and achieves a good effect in the linearization of a power amplifier. According to the technical scheme, a memory polynomial digital pre-distortion method based on a piecewise linear function includes: the input of a pre-distortion module is y(n)/G, and the output is the conjugate of z(n), and G is the gain of the power amplifier. An input signal is x(n), the input signal passes through a structure which is the same with the pre-distortion module to generate an output signal z(n), e(n)=z(n)-the conjugate of z(n), e(n) is minimized by employing the recursive least squares algorithm iteration, and the signal is linearly amplified. The method is mainly applied to linearization occasions of the power amplifiers.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to digital pre-distortion technology, and more specifically, to a memory polynomial digital pre-distortion method based on piecewise linear functions. Background technique [0002] The power amplifier plays a very important role in the wireless communication system, however it is the main nonlinear source in the transmission process. People usually give up part of the nonlinearity in order to improve the transmission efficiency of the signal. Therefore, efficient modulation methods are often used in modern communication systems, such as QAM, OFDM, and LTE. However, such signals have a high peak-to-average ratio, and are prone to spectrum expansion and in-band and out-of-band distortion during transmission. Therefore, the linearization of the power amplifier becomes the key. Due to its high flexibility, good consistency, strong applicability, and convenient implementation, digital predistortion technology has become the m...
