The invention discloses a power amplifier linearization method based on a baseband digital predistortion technology, comprising the following steps of: calculating an instantaneous amplitude Ai and an instantaneous phase theta i of an input baseband signal; respectively searching out a pre-distorted signal amplitude Bi and a pre-distorted phase offset phi i by regarding the instantaneous amplitude Ai as an indexed address of a predistortion lookup table; calculating a pre-distorted signal and then outputting the pre-distorted signal for up-conversion treatment and analogue-to-digital conversion; and finally sending the signal to a power amplifier. During the predistortion, an output signal of the power amplifier is obtained and converted into a baseband feedback signal via a feedback path; and the predistortion lookup table is self-adaptively updated by using the baseband feedback signal and a desired signal. The invention also discloses a predistortion lookup table initialization method matched with the linearization method disclosed by the invention and a linearization device based on the linearization method. The method disclosed in the invention directly adopts signal amplitude as the indexed address of a predistortion lookup table to obtain predistortion signal simply, which not only reduces the treatment relay of the system and the system load, but also reduces the device complexity and the control complexity of the system.

The emitting device at least comprises a test data generation device, a predistortion device, a modulation device and a power amplification device. The receiving device at least comprises a synchronous demodulation device, a data recovery device and a predistortion parameter calculation device. According to the predistortion parameter calculation device, a predistortion coefficient vector A is acquired by the optimized variable step size LMS algorithm, and the predistortion device is configured through the acquired coefficient. After an emitted signal matrix U passes the predistortion device, the predistortion device output vector Z is acquired by that Z = UA. According to the system, on the basis that the original LMS algorithm is not modified, the segment interval is refined and the step size is replaced, the step size factors of the LMS algorithm are corrected, the predistorted out-of-band rejection is increased by about 3dB and is closer to the optimal coefficient, and the nonlinear predistortion compensation effect is improved.

Baseband pre-distortion power amplifier linearization method based on one-way feedback and non-iterative technique

The invention discloses a baseband pre-distortion power amplifier linearization method based on one-way feedback and a non-iterative technique, belonging to the technical field of electronics and relating to a power amplifier linearization technique. Two orthogonal training sequences of linearly increased amplitudes are input into a power amplifier successively, and an improved look-up table is constructed by an I path feedback signal sequence output by power amplifier; the input signals of the whole power amplifier system calculates and looks for corresponding look-up table values by the amplitudes, then corresponding pre-distortion process is carried out on the I path and Q path baseband input signals, and the input signals after pre-distortion are output to the power amplifier after D / A conversion, filtration and up-conversion, thus obtaining the output signals which show linear amplification with the baseband input signals of the whole power amplifier system. The whole pre-distortion process can be realized in a digital processing chip (comprising DSP or FPGA). Compared with the prior art, the method does not need arctangent or inverse cosine calculation and does not need coordinate transformation, thus reducing calculation amount, increasing calculation efficiency and ensuring the system structure to be simpler.

Method for realizing memory-type power amplifier linearization and its baseband predistortion device

The invention discloses a method for realizing memory-type power amplifier linearization and its baseband predistortion device. The method firstly obtains a loop delay and a parameter of the memoryless predistortion unit by a narrow band training sequence with a specific frame structure and a corresponding self-adaptive algorithm, then compensates the memory effect of the power amplifier when transmitting the broad band signals by an equalizer and an equalizing arithmetic. The base band predistortion device comprises a narrow band training sequence generating unit, a self-adaptive memoryless predistorter, a self-adaptive equalizer. The output of the narrow band training sequence generating unit is fed to the memoryless predistortion unit, modifies the parameters of the memoryless predistortion unit by the self-adaptive algorithm, inputs the broad band signal sequence to the self-adaptive equalizer after the algorithm is convergent, modifies the parameter of the equalizer to compensate the memory effect of the power amplifier. The invention has a low computation, which is easy to realize and suitable for correcting the non-linear property of the power amplifier with the memory effect and the common power amplifier.
