A system for monitoring and modifying the quality and temperature of air within a conditioned space includes a blower unit, a damper unit for selectively admitting outside air into the conditioned space, a temperature moderating unit and a control unit. The control unit includes a thermostat and conventional temperature control apparatus for selectively activating the temperature moderating unit to maintain the desired temperature in the conditioned space. The control unit also incorporates CO2 concentration measuring and control apparatus which includes a small CO2 sensor. The CO2 sensor includes a cathode, an anode and a solid electrolyte disposed intermediate and electrically in contact with each of the cathode and the anode to effect a primary electrical cell. A heater and a heater thermostat serve to maintain the temperature of the cell at about 250° C. The cathode and anode materials and the chemical composition of the electrolyte are further selected such that the voltage generated across the heated cell varies in accordance with the CO2 concentration. CO2 concentration modifying apparatus is responsive to sensing a first predetermined CO2 concentration for turning on the blower unit and to sensing a second, higher, predetermined CO2 concentration for actuating the damper unit to admit outside air.

Double-wavelength absorbance detection device for analyzing trace liquid

The invention relates to an ultraviolet double-wavelength absorbance detection device for trace liquid. The device is formed by connecting four parts which are a light source, a liquid core waveguide sample detection tank, a photoelectric detector and a control detection circuit by a light path and a line. The light source comprises two ultraviolet light emitting diodes with different wavelengths. The sample detection tank comprises a liquid core waveguide pipe, and the two pipe orifices of the liquid core waveguide pipe are opened and are used for leading in and leading out a solution to be analyzed. The liquid core waveguide pipe is provided with two turn areas used as an incident light coupler and an emergent light coupler of the liquid core waveguide sample detection tank. The control detection circuit lightens the two light emitting diodes of the light source in a time-sharing way, the intensity of light penetrating through the liquid core waveguide sample detection tank is respectively detected at each lightening moment by the detector, and the absorbance of the liquid to be detected under two wavelengths is obtained. The invention realizes the detection of the ultraviolet double-wavelength absorbance of the trace liquid and has high detection sensitivity of the device, little consumption quantity of a sample, simple and reliable detection operation, low manufacturing cost of the device and easy miniaturization and integration.

Method and equipment for multiplexing and demodulating long period optical fiber optical grating array

The invention relates to a real time signal multiplexing and demodulating method of a sensor of a full optical fiber long period optical fiber raster array and a device thereof. The invention selects the continuous laser as an optical source, which is provided with the central wavelength at an optical fiber communication wave bond and has an adjustable single longitudinal mode; the frequency of the laser sent by the optical source is demodulated, and then the laser is distributed to a reference light path and a measuring light path by an optical fiber isolator and an optical fiber coupler according to light intensity fixed proportion. The laser entering the reference light path is all reflected by a FLM. The laser entering the measuring light path is distributed into the branch measuring light path of i path, and the light intensity introduced by LPG after waste is reflected by the FLM. The light intensity reflected by each branch measuring light path is coupled and then passes through a 2 is multiplied by 2 optical fiber coupler again together with the light intensity reflected by the reference light path to produce a beat frequency signal. The wavelength drift rate of the central wavelength of the corresponding LPG is confirmed by analyzing the beat frequency signal.
