Problems solved by technology

Considering that the image height (number of pixels) may be thousands or even tens of thousands, for example, for an image of 3840×1920 (width×height), in order to find the optimal seam line, it is necessary to define a 1920-dimensional vector, the general intelligent optimization algorithm The performance will decrease sharply as the search space (1920 variables) increases

Abstract

The invention provides an optimal seaming line searching method for image splicing. A vector having the same dimension as the height of an image is defined to be a chromosome being an alternative seaming line by using a difference image at an image overlapped region as searching space, wherein each gene of the chromosome expresses an optimal splicing point at each row in the difference image. The fitness value of the chromosome being an alternative seaming line is defined to be a reciprocal of the sum of pixel values of locations of the splicing points on the difference image. Meanwhile, each chromosome is divided into a plurality of daughter chromosomes randomly; all daughter chromosomes are optimized respectively; and optimization results of the daughter chromosomes are combined to obtain an optimal seaming line. On the basis of the random grouping optimization strategy, large-scale decision variables can be processed and the seaming line quality can be improved effectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of image information processing, in particular to an optimal suture line search method for image splicing. Background technique [0002] Image is an important way for human beings to obtain visual information. Panoramic image (video) has attracted more and more attention because it can give people a good immersive experience. Wide-angle lenses can obtain images with a wide viewing angle to a certain extent, but they usually have the following disadvantages, such as the reduction of detail resolution due to the large shooting range, distortion and deformation of the edges of the image, and the lens is too expensive. Therefore, the method of multi-camera stitching becomes an effective method for obtaining panoramas. Panoramic image stitching, specifically, multiple small-sized images with overlapping areas from the same scene, after registration and transformation, are synthesized into a high-quality, larger panorama....
