Abstract

One embodiment of the application provides a service trigger method. The method comprises the following steps: a serving call session control function S-CSCF acquires the state information of an application server AS; when the serving call session control function S-CSCF receives a service request, the serving call session control function S-CSCF judges whether the application server AS is normal or not based on the state information of the application server AS; if the application server AS is normal, the serving call session control function S-CSCF uses pre-acquired initial filter criteria iFC to perform service matching; and if the service matching succeeds, the serving call session control function S-CSCF triggers a service. According to the application, by taking the acquired state of the application server AS as a necessary condition for service trigger matching, unnecessary initial filter criteria iFC matching and service trigger processes carried out by the serving call session control function S-CSCF are reduced, and the system load and network load are reduced.
