Abstract

The invention discloses a quick fingerprint comparison method and device used for a fingerprint lock. The invention can realize quick unlocking of a host, optimize average unlocking rate of guests, avoids erasion of host storage zone in frequency use and prolong use time of a storage as much as possible. The method is characterized in that fingerprint features of the host and the guests are stored separately and host library comparison is performed in sequence at first. If host library comparison is performed and matching success is indicated, a matching result is returned immediately and guest library comparison is saved. If host library comparison is performed and matching failure is indicated, guest library comparison is performed in sequence. During the whole process, host fingerprint feature storage sequence is not in dynamic adjustment. In guest library comparison, if matching success is indicated, the guest fingerprint feature rolls forward to the top of the guest library.
