By adoption of the lightweight terminal block chain system, when a lightweight terminal device accesses the network, the lightweight terminal device participates in the transaction verification, transaction broadcast, block check and other functions of the block chain system, so that the transaction data in the block chain network back up more transaction information that cannot be tampered on more devices, thereby fully utilizing the idle resources of a part of terminal devices, and enhancing the reliability and the non-tampering property of the block chain system. Meanwhile, the system fully considers the limited storage, calculation and network resources of the terminal devices, so that the terminal devices join in the block chain system by the lightweight nodes, that is, maintain the normal operation of the block chain system by very small resource costs.
