Abstract

The invention provides an intelligent traffic monitoring method in a low-illumination condition, a device and a system. Compared with prior art with defects such as high time complexity, insufficientconsideration for correlation among three primary colors and easy image color distortion after enhancement, the intelligent traffic monitoring method in the low-illumination condition, the device andthe system settle the defects in prior art and mainly perform enhancement processing on an original image in a traffic detecting and tracking system based on video in the low-illumination condition such as night. According to the method of the invention, mutual correlation among three RGB color spatial channels are analyzed, a three-channel combined enhancement method is presented; and secondly, for aiming at the characteristic of an intelligent traffic image, an enhancement method of combining brightness and contrast is presented. Furthermore, a parameter value required for enhancement is adaptively calculated through objectively evaluating the image quality, thereby finishing adaptive enhancement so that the image has high identification performance. In subsequent image processing, higher identification performance is realized.
