Abstract

The invention provides an eddy-covariance technique device and an eddy-covariance technique method for simultaneously measuring net exchange fluxes of N2O, CH4 and CO2 based on a single gas analyzer.By integrating effective software and hardware including a ultrasonic anemometer, a gas sampling system, a closed circuit gas analyzer, a calibration system, and a data collecting and processing device, the synchronous, efficient and accurate measurement of net exchange fluxes of N2O, CH4 and CO2 is realized based on the principle of an eddy-covariance technique. The ultrasonic anemometer measuresthe three-dimensional wind speed. The gas sampling system collects air samples and delivers the air samples to the closed circuit gas analyzer. The closed loop gas analyzer measures the concentrationof N2O, CH4, and CO2 contained in the air samples from the gas sampling system. The calibration system calibrates the closed circuit gas analyzer. The data collecting and processing device receives,stores, and processes the three-dimensional wind speed and gas concentration data measured by the ultrasonic anemometer and the closed-loop gas analyzer, and calculates the net exchange fluxes of N2O,CH4, and CO2 based on the eddy-covariance technique principle.
