Embodiments of the invention provide a data processing method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of receiving a PaaS task request, wherein the PaaS task request is used for requesting to process a target PaaS task; according to the PaaS task request, determining a predicted executive duration; according to the predicted executive duration, generating an executive table item, wherein theexecutive table item comprises mapping relationships between different executive time periods and prices; according to selection operation of a user, determining a target executive time period in theexecutive table item; and in the target executive time period, processing the target PaaS task. The user can select the reasonable executive time period and expense to finish the processing of the PaaS task by integrating the demands of the PaaS task on a completion time limit and the prices, so that the user experience is improved.
