Chemical components of the pteris vittata extract comprise apigenin, apigenin-7-O-beta-D-glucoside, luteolin, luteolin-7-O-beta-D-glucose, kaemperfol-3-O-beta-D-glucoside and beta-sitosterol. The acetylcholinesterase inhibitor is prepared by mixing the following substances (by weight): 10-20 parts of the pteris vittata extract, 10-20 parts of a motherwort extract and 100-300 parts of accessories.
