Abstract

The compound rectangular flow weir comprises a left side weir body, a compound rectangular weir,a right side weir body, a substrate, and a water level monitoring device hole, wherein the left side weir body, the right side weir body and the substrate form the compound rectangular weir; the compound rectangular weir comprises a first layer of thin-wall weir and a second layer of brickwork weir; the water level monitoring device hole is located in a riverbed at the upstream of the flow weir to fix a water level monitoring device. The first layer of thin-wall weir is used for monitoring low flow of streams in mountains and tunnels; the second layer of brickwork weir is built by bricks withcement and is used for monitoring high flow in a flood season. The whole compound thin-wall weir obtains flow data calculated by adopting water level measurement, and no manual monitoring is needed,so that the labor cost is greatly reduced. The scientific rationality and the flow monitoring accuracy of the flow weir are improved; the flow and a changing rule of gulley water are precisely monitored; scientific and accurate hydrogeological data is provided for mountain engineering construction.
