The method comprises the following steps: transmitting a power-on signal toa cloud server once every day after the nine-layer filter element water purifier is powered on; receiving and acquiring the power-on signal of the nine-layer filter element water purifier by the cloud server under the condition that service life data of eight filter elements of the water purifier are stored in the cloud server; and determining the fact that the water purifier is in a working state according to the power-on signal of the nine-layer filter element water purifier, subtracting 1 based on the stored service life data of each filter element by the cloud server, updating the data toobtain the remaining service life data of each filter element, calculating the remaining service life percentage of each filter element, and transmitting the remaining service life data and the percentage to the nine-layer filter element water purifier and a user terminal respectively.
