The intelligent drug administration metering system comprises a medicine pot, a rotatable medicine distribution disc, a pill baffle plate, a rotary table motor, a first light-transmitting medicine outlet pipeline, a first infrared sensing assembly and a controller,wherein a medicine outlet is arranged at the bottom of the medicine pot; the medicine outlet is connected with the first light-transmitting medicine outlet pipeline; the rotatable medicine distribution disc is arranged in the medicine pot and is provided with a plurality of medicine distribution holes; the rotary table motor is used for driving the rotatable medicine distribution disc to rotate;the pill baffle plate is arranged on an inner wall of the medicine pot and close to one side of the medicine outlet, and a distance is preset between the pill baffle plate and the rotatable medicine distribution disc; the first infrared sensing assembly is used for sensing the quantity of pills entering into the first light-transmitting medicine outlet pipeline; when the assembly senses that the pills with a pre-set quantity enter into the first light-transmitting medicine outlet pipeline, a signal is transmitted to the controller and the rotary table motor stops working.
