The invention discloses a natural gas remote charging device and a using method thereof, and the device comprises a light emitting device for emitting a white light source, a turntable combination forreceiving the white light source and reflecting light signals, a reading turntable which rotates coaxially with the turntable combination and is used for displaying the reading change of a gas meter,an optical fiber collimator for collimating the light signals into a transmission optical fiber, the transmission optical fiber for transmitting the received light signals to a photoelectric signal conversion device, and the photoelectric signal conversion device for converting the light signals into electric signals. The natural gas remote charging device has the beneficial effects that the device can save time and labor and can monitor the usage amount of natural gas regularly.
