The positioning beacon throwing method comprises the following steps: a basket with a first set of positioning beacons is placed into an underwater set depth through a withdrawing and placing mechanism; then, an underwater robot takes down the first set of positioning beacons from the basket for arrangement; when the first set of positioning beacons are arranged, the withdrawing and placing mechanism finishes recovery of the basket onto a deck, and a secondset of positioning beacons is placed to an underwater set depth through the basket; after the first set of positioning beacons are arranged, the underwater robot takes down the second set of positioning beacons from the basket for arrangement; and when the second set of positioning beacons are arranged, the withdrawing and placing mechanism finishes the action of recovering the basket onto the deck.
